What happens to your photo, end to end. A proprietary computer-vision stack — custom-trained zone detection, pixel-precise segmentation, sub-pixel measurement off the traced outline — does all the measuring. A vision-language model then reads the surface qualities no ruler can reach and writes your notes — it never does the measuring. The two reads are computed independently so they cross-check each other, and everything ranks against a confidence-gated corpus.
